Nespresso Almond Croissant review: capsule and coffee cup

Created in collaboration with chef Jean Imbert, Almond Croissant is a 2024 Limited Edition capsule made of a blend of Arabica beans from Brazil and Colombia.

NESPRESSO ALMOND CROISSANT REVIEW

Nespresso Almond Croissant delivers a pretty sweet cup of coffee which, as its name implies, is reminiscent of almond croissants. While I do prefer my croissants plain – just like my coffee – I must admit this limited edition pod proves to be enjoyable, especially with milk, as Cappucino or Latte Macchiato. Because of its sweetness which can be unwelcome when it comes to aftertaste, I would recommend sticking to just one Almond Croissant drink at a time, as a follow-up might not be as a pleasant experience.

COFFEE PAIRING

  • Activities: for Sunday breakfast.
  • Music: some old school 80s synth-pop by Eurythmics sounds good.
  • Food: pair it with a croissant of course.
