LONG BLACK OVER ICE CAPSULE REVIEW
As you may know if you’ve been reading our reviews for a while, we drink our coffee black which allows us to experience fully its flavor. With this Long Black Over Ice capsule it however proved to be a mistake as this iced drink made of a ristretto shot, ice cubes and sparkling water is just too sour without sugar – no wonder Nespresso suggests adding coconut syrup. Since we didn’t have this syrup on hand, we added regular sugar and to be frank you need to add a lot of sugar to make it enjoyable and dilute the somewhat unsavory acidic note. Unfortunately this is another disappointing summer release from Nespresso and, in case you were wondering if I’m just an iced coffee hater, this answer is quite the opposite as, living in Southern California, I drink iced coffee all year round.

Nespresso’s Long Black Over Ice comes in a summer themed light blue rectangle box featuring wave patterns. It opens in the middle and includes 10 silver capsules with yellow and blue lines.
