VARIATIONS LINZER TORTE CAPSULE  REVIEW

With its fruity flavor – most likely raspberry and cherry -, its smoothness and gentle bitterness, Nespresso’s Linzer Torte is quite a pleasant and feminine variation, even for those like me who usually don’t like fruits in their coffee – and chocolate. Compared to the other 2 variations it is getting released with, we find it superior to Apfelstrudel while Sachertorte remains our favorite. Overall it has a festive feel which makes for a good cup after Christmas and New Year meals.

  • Activities: For breakfast, tea breaks and holiday meals.
  • Music: To get in a mood, play Charlie Brown’s Holiday hits (got that one on vinyl for my daughter).
  • Food: Since it’s based on a pastry, pair it with a red fruit tart.
