Starbucks Nespresso Espresso Roast review: capsule & coffee cup

Starbucks Espresso is an espresso roast capsule made with 100% Arabica coffee beans from Asia-Pacific & Latin America.

STARBUCKS NESPRESSO ESPRESSO ROAST CAPSULE REVIEW

Out of all the Starbucks Nespresso capsules I have tested so far, Espresso Roast is our favorite. With an intensity of 11 out of 12, this is as dark as it gets, delivering a straightforward espresso cup with no nonsense flavors. Even though I don’t like caramel and molasse, these ingredients are here used in the background to soften the strong roasted flavor without spoiling it. Starbucks  Nespresso Espresso Roast should satisfy bona fide espresso enthusiasts looking for a strong, rough and brief coffee experience.

COFFEE PAIRING

  • Activities: A good way to start your day with a kick but beware that indulging in a  few cups might get you wired.
  • Music: Since it’s dark, get in a Goth mood with Bauhaus.
  • Food: Go with something dark and bitter like chocolate as anything sweet will get overshadowed.

UNBOXING

Starbucks Espresso Roast comes in a standard black yellow-themed rectangle box which opens on the side. It includes 10 gold capsules.
