Peet’s Ristretto

Peet's Ristretto coffee capsule review

Peet’s Ristretto review: capsule & coffee cup

Peet’s Ristretto is an espresso capsule made with 100% Arabica coffee beans.

PEET’S RISTRETTO CAPSULE REVIEW

Providing a pretty dark experience with light fruity and cocoa flavors, Peet’s Ristretto capsule feels pretty rough when you drink it, before leaving you with a thick and salty aftertaste.

While ristretto capsules are by definition supposed to be intense, this one somewhat lacks subtlety, neither its body nor its flavor providing a fully satisfying experience.

COFFEE PAIRING

  • Activities: Better suited to give you a caffeine kick when you are not fully awake.
  • Music: Something intense, lacking subtlety means anything hard rock …
  • Food: Because it’s dark and thick, you definitely need to go for something opposite like sweet bread.

UNBOXING

Peet’s Ristretto comes in a black brown-themed rectangle box which opens in the middle. It includes 10 black and brown capsules.
