Peet’s Ricchezza review: capsule & coffee cup

Peet’s Ricchezza is an espresso capsule made with 100% Arabica coffee beans.

PEET’S RICCHEZZA CAPSULE REVIEW

While I usually complain about overly fruity coffees, this one gets it quite right, its berry flavor revealing itself with subtlety and restraint. It also provides this espresso with an enjoyable softness which contrasts with the coffee’s original bitterness – on a personal note, I found berries to be a better match for coffee than the commonly used red fruits. As for the finish, it leaves you with a salty note but the flavor tends to fade away quickly.

COFFEE PAIRING

  • Activities: A pretty round coffee good for everything from breakfast to coffee breaks and lunch.
  • Music: A good match for Lenny Kravitz’s polished and catchy tunes from his latest album Raise Vibration and particularly the single “Low”.
  • Food: A fruity pastry such as a fruit tart is great with that one.

UNBOXING

Peet’s Ricchezza comes in a black purple-themed rectangle box which opens in the middle. It includes 10 black and purple capsules.
