Nespresso Freddo Delicato review: capsule and coffee cup

Lavazza Nespresso Decaffeinato Ricco is a dark roast decaf espresso coffee capsule made with a blend of Arabica coffee beans from Brazil and Robusta beans from South-East Asia.

LAVAZZA DECAFFEINATO RICCO CAPSULE REVIEW

Drinking decaf coffee is like drinking non-alcoholic beer: there is always something missing whether it’s in terms of flavor or kick. I wasn’t expecting much when it was time to review Lavazza’s Decaffeinato Ricco capsule but, to be frank, it’s on par with their standard espresso capsules. Despite that watery feel I don’t like which affects most Nespresso compatible pods, this one comes with an enjoyable, dark roasted flavor that feels like the real thing and leaves with you with a decent aftertaste. There are also light fruity notes that do not bother me as it is often the case. While inferior to Nespresso’s decaf capsules, Decaffeinato Ricco provides a decent experience.
