DECAFFEINATO LUNGO CAPSULE REVIEW

While I was very impressed with Nespresso’s Decaffeinato Intenso capsule, this Decaf lungo proves to be a letdown. Too watery and light (its intensity is only 3 out 13), it doesn’t feel like you’re drinking real coffee, making it clear you’re having decaf. Sure, there are some nice hints of roasted flavors and bitterness but it’s not enough to counterbalance its wishy-washy texture.

COFFEE PAIRING

  • Activities: Because it’s decaf, you can have it at any time of the day but I wouldn’t use to start the day as, besides lacking caffeine, it doesn’t taste good enough to put you in a good mood.
  • Music: That’s the one for people who like Coldplay.
  • Food: In that case, you need to eat something with flavors – French brioche with butter, dark chocolate will work or biscuits.

PACKAGING

Decaffeinato Lungo coffee comes in Nespresso’s standard rectangle box. It includes 10 red capsules.
