Chelsea HiLine capsule and cup

HiLine’s Chelsea capsule and coffee cup

Coffee beans from Colombia, Costa Rica and Kenya.

OUR REVIEW

With an intensity of 4 and a light bitterness, Chelsea proves to be a pleasant espresso which feels strong without being too intense. I find it slightly too watery like other HiLine capsules and, even though I like strong blends, it turns out to be a better balanced espresso than Wall Street.

PAIRING

Chelsea HiLine capsule box

HiLine’s Chelsea capsule box

  • Activities: Good as your first morning cup and throughout the morning – I had three in a row.
  • Music: Because it’s called Chelsea and was designed with an artsy feel without being too dark, The Strokes come to mind to accompany it musically.
  • Food: with buttery toasted bread for breakfast.

PACKAGING

Chelsea comes in a pink box featuring two hearts as a logo and including 10 pink capsules.

This packaging seems more about romance, which they’re also targeting, than art though – as you can on the picture above, you could certainly substitute Paris to Chelsea as a symbol of art and romance.
